Personal growth and healing are key components of a rich and vibrant life. Yet sometimes the changes we need to make in order to grow seem overwhelming, vague, or even impossible. Therapy can help you feel safe and supported enough to face what needs facing, and change your life from the inside out.
I offer a free 10-15 minute phone consultation to those who’d like to see if we are a good match before our first appointment. If my practice is full or I'm not the right therapist for you, I’m happy to connect you with other providers in the area who may be a better fit.
Initial Assessments are 60-75 minutes long and are $200. At your first appointment we will talk about what’s happening in your life and what you want to work on. I will do my best to make you feel comfortable and supported - starting therapy is a big and brave step!
Follow-up appointments are typically scheduled in 45-minute blocks at the same time each week and are $165 per session. However, your treatment will be customized for you. Session length, frequency of appointments, and duration of treatment will be based on your unique needs and circumstances.
Although I am not a provider for insurance, I am happy to provide you with a Superbill if you have "out-of-network" mental health benefits and would like to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.

The Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) process is designed to support clients in having more access to buried material in the psyche - the medicine acts as a facilitator to soften ego defenses and allow repressed material to rise to the surface to be worked through. It can be used to treat a variety of conditions like anxiety, depression, and trauma.
At lower doses, the medicine can produce a hypnotic or dreamlike state. At higher doses, clients can have deeply meaningful transpersonal or mystical experiences.
Integration is at the center of the work we do, and clients will be supported in making a plan to translate their experiences into tangible, life-transforming actions.
Ketamine is a legal medicine with a long track record of safety-- it continues to be used as a surgical anesthesthetic at much higher doses than are used in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. At the doses used in KAP, Ketamine acts as a psychedelic medicine and has the potential to bring unconscious material to the surface to be worked through in therapy.
I collaborate with Dr. Sandhya Prashad, and together we work with patients to customize a treatment plan. Prior to scheduling a Ketamine Assisted Therapy session, prospective patients need to schedule an initial assessment with me as well as complete a medical evaluation and screening with Dr. Prashad.
During a Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy session, the medicine is administered via lozenge or Intramuscular Injection (IM) under the medical supervision of Dr. Sandhya Prashad. This method differs from the Intravenous (IV) model (though the IV model can be appropriate and the right choice for some patients).
Initial therapy assessments are 60 minutes in length, and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy sessions are 3 hours in length. KAP therapy is billed at $200 / hour, and--at this time--insurance does not explicitly provide coverage for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. I will provide you with a “Superbill'' if you have “out-of-network” mental health benefits and would like to submit this to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. I recommend that you clarify your benefits and coverage with your insurance company prior to treatment. The medical portion of the KAP experience is billed separately by Dr. Prashad’s office, and will vary based on your individualized treatment plan. You will have the opportunity to discuss costs with Dr. Prashad at your medical screening / intake appointment.
We recommend a commitment of at least 4 sessions, as the treatments can have a cumulative benefit.
